RTS was founded by Tom O'Reilly, an active experienced level 3 IRATA rope access supervisor, who has gained knowledge through his diversity of work over the past 20 years, with a mission to deliver high quality, safe, innovative and cost effective solutions to access challenges.
All rope access is carried out in accordance with IRATA standards and specialised technicians are trained accordingly to ensure the highest level of safety to both them and the public.

Why ROPE ACCESS?
Rope access is the professional use of ropes to carry out inspections, maintenance and many other types of work. Rope access uses ropes, climbing techniques and safety equipment to gain access to inaccessible areas and also to areas traditionally accessed by scaffolding and MEWPS. Access sought can be at height or in depth, such as work sites above water, in confined spaces or within/on buildings. Obtaining access by rope access reduces project times, is more cost efficient and allows for quick access in a safe manner with minimum disruption to other operations and surrounding areas.
How safe is rope access ?
The working method is safe provided the IRATA guidelines are followed. IRATA stands for industrial Rope Access Trade Association and is an organisation that focuses on the safe execution of rope access. Every IRATA member must adhere to certain guidelines and rules that IRATA controls.
Where can rope access be used ?
Rope access can be used anywhere to reach an inaccessible place. A good example of this is within the civil & infrastructure sector where in the past all buildings were rectangular and easy to reach, nowadays the cities are full of the most beautiful buildings that look more like a work of art. This makes maintenance, assembly & inspection more challenging. Most scaffolding and aerial work platforms cannot (safely) reach these places, making rope access the best solution.
